Lea Lakeside-Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in law.  She has completed some postgraduate work toward a Masters Degree.  Lea has certificates in Secretarial Science, Computers in Business and Tax Preparer.  Additionally, she has completed a two-year program in court reporting and is a certified vocational instructor through the State of Oregon.  Lea has extensive employment experience in all aspects of computers.  She has received training in over 40 software programs.

Barbara Clements has been a committed volunteer for the prior two years. Although she works a full-time job, she is at Hope Dolls for eight to ten hours every Saturday plus a myriad of other tasks she performs for Hope Dolls. Her life-long interest has been in mentoring youth via crafting programs and fixing up dolls. Although all her prior work experience has been in a manufacturing environment, it is such a position that has allowed her to work with people from all over the world from the ages of 18 to 70. Lastly, she was raising her three teen granddaughters and has experienced firsthand the damage drugs does to ones loved ones. She is retiring from her employment in 2006.

Linda Ulman has an Associate of Arts Degree in Ceramics and Jewelry and Metal-Smithing from Portland Community College, among several other education qualifications. She has worked in the health insurance industry for over seventeen years and is proficient in computer software and bookkeeping, as well as in landscaping, gardening, construction techniques, and decorating. Linda is an accomplished artist and provides valuable feedback to Hope Dolls on projects for the teens.

Jenny Gholson has a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Psychology and a minor in psychology. Since graduation she has worked in Alabama as a case manager for the non-profit called Senior Services and currently she is a case manager for Multnomah County Aging and Disabilities Services. She has had this position for six years. She is mother of triplets and comes from a large family. Her dream in life is to share her experiences coming from a happy environment, and she has always wanted to work with children.

Stacey Lehman is a mother of five and an activist for victims of domestic violence. As the adopted mother of two domestic abuse survivors, Stacey has attended many workshops, therapy sessions, and forums addressing the special needs of domestic violence survivors. She understands the critical issues facing these youth and the efficacy of the programs currently in place to address them. Though new to Hope dolls, Stacey stands ready to help mentor participating teens just as she did her own children.
